This is a great game to play with students who are learning colours, weather, and seasons in Spanish. The objective of the game is to time students to see how fast they can get in line. For example, the square may say "yo soy rojo, yo quiero verde". This person will need to find the other person whose square says: "yo soy verde, yo quiero..." My students love this game! This game is a perfect way for students to get up, move, and practice speaking and reading numbers in Spanish. The objective of the game is for each student to figure out what number they are, and what number they want. They work together as a class, only speaking in Spanish, to get into a line. Put your timer on! For example, the square may say "yo soy doce, yo quiero veinte", so they will need to find the student who's box says "yo soy veinte, yo quiero...". This is the alphabetical BC Ministry of Education designation and funding resource. It is great to have a copy that you can print and put in your books/ have on file on your computer to understand student designation and what they mean. Especially when it comes to check-ins with students and reporting, it is worth having this present :)

This has worked like a charm. It keeps student accountable regarding what they have worked on/ learned during the week, as well as recording their habits. It is great for student reflection. It is also great to share with parents.
