This is an word file, which can be modified for your specific purpose, helps student keep track of students independent reading. I sometimes modify it to fit literary elements such as theme, figurative language, or main idea and supporting details. I use this as a weekly reading and writing tracker. I give participation points and anecdotal IEP writing data for special education students. If you enjoy this please leave good feedback! Thanks

I have created a weekly log for my students to record what they are reading as well as providing a summary. While they are reading I circulate the room and conference with students and give them a stamp if they are on task. I use this to help with my formative assessment.
