I have been a math teacher for over 12 years. I have taught 7 years at the high school level and 5 at the middle school level. Although I loved teaching high school, I wanted to pursue a career in Educational Administration. With that goal in mind I pursued and attained my current position as Mathematics Department Head at Hudson Memorial Middle School where I teach 7th and 8th graders.
In this project, students in groups will create a board game for Milton Bradley. Students will be asked to create a 30 question game, using the rules of probability. Each group will be required to have a certain number of questions that involve Basic Probability, The Counting Principle, Multiplying Probabilities, Binomial, Geometric, and Poisson Distributions, and problems of their choosing.
