Students will solve problems to determine the better deal. Based on the answer, students will select the design that they will draw on their turkey. Once complete, students will be able to self-check their turkey with other turkeys to compare answers. Students are able to interact and use models to subtract integers. Teachers are able to use as an assessment tool or just for practice. Each student will have his/her own copy to use in Google Classroom. Can also be used with an interactive board. Students or teachers will click and drag negative, positive, or zero pairs to solve practice problems using models.

This activity will provide students with notes and examples for Georgia Milestones Review for Unit One.  Notes are created through Google Slides and are adaptable to fit your teaching style.  Students will get their own copy of the notes (also provided) to be able to follow along with instruction.  This is a quick review to cover the main concepts in Unit 1 on the Georgia Standards Frameworks. Students will be able to complete a daily assignment using interactive models and colored disc to solve. Students will use movable disk to solve adding and subtraction of integers problems. Each student will receive a copy of the assignment and turn it in on completion. You will be able to check students understanding of modeling integers with this assignment. This assignment will pair well with any of the addition or subtraction of integer notes in my TpT store.
