Get your kids engaged with integers by going on a scavenger hunt! This follows Common Core standard: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.6.NS.C.7.B Cut out the 20 questions, and paste them around your room. The students can start at any problem, and it will lead them in the same order. Students will solve a problem, and the find the answer at the top of another problem. This is a great way to engage students in practicing how to reflect points on a coordinate plane. The will work in pairs (or by themselves) and draw from a deck of cards to create ordered pairs. Black cards represent positive numbers, and red represents negative numbers. Each ordered pair will be reflected over the x-axis and y-axis.
