About the store
Hi, I’m Kim! I’m a Computer Science educator with over 14 years of classroom experience and a passion for creating engaging, standards-aligned resources that work in diverse classrooms. I teach AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, and upper-level software development courses in a California public school, and I also serve as an adjunct professor supporting community college students. My classroom is built around collaboration, inquiry, and equity. I specialize in designing activities that blend rigorous content with communication, SEL, and fun—because students learn best when they feel connected and empowered. All the resources in my store have been tested with real high school students and are designed to support other educators in building inclusive, joyful, and academically rich computer science classrooms.

Teaching style

My teaching style blends high expectations with high support. I believe students thrive when they’re challenged to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and express their creativity—especially in computer science. In my classroom, you’ll find peer-driven learning, real-world connections, and a strong focus on building community. I use project-based learning, structured partner activities, and vocabulary-building routines that support both academic growth and social-emotional development. Whether we’re writing algorithms or reflecting on ethical computing, my goal is to make every student feel seen, capable, and excited to learn. The resources in my store reflect this approach—scaffolded, engaging, and built to support a wide range of learners.
