Hi, I’m Nicole Erickson. I’ve been a passionate educator for over 20 years, specializing in Physical and Health Education (PHE) from kindergarten through Grade 12. Currently, I teach high school PHE and Leadership, where I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment that empowers students to lead healthy, active lives and grow as confident leaders. I’m deeply committed to helping students discover their strengths, build resilience, and develop the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia (UBC), along with a Master’s degree in Physical, Health, and Outdoor Experiential Education, also from UBC. My academic background and teaching experience have shaped my holistic approach to education, emphasizing physical literacy, mental well-being, and experiential learning.
