This is an essay outline that has been well fielded in the classroom. It is a simple, student friendly, easy to use essay outline with guiding questions that I have been using with my students for years. Experience

I have taught English in Texas for the last 4 years, often times with inclusion students, and always in Title 1 schools.

Teaching style

I love to change the way I teach things constantly, though I always lean towards simplest and shortest path. I believe that students learn best from a combination of community based learning and individual practice. I love Socratic questioning, Socratic seminar, independent reading projects, and journaling. I have lately grown to love sitting my students down in a small group set up and station teaching to check in on multiple simultaneous projects. My students always score highly on the dictionary portions of state tests because I am a child of the spell-check generation.
