I love to change the way I teach things constantly, though I always lean towards simplest and shortest path. I believe that students learn best from a combination of community based learning and individual practice. I love Socratic questioning, Socratic seminar, independent reading projects, and journaling. I have lately grown to love sitting my students down in a small group set up and station teaching to check in on multiple simultaneous projects. My students always score highly on the dictionary portions of state tests because I am a child of the spell-check generation.
