If you are learning about area and perimeter in your classroom, this is a great activity to use after you have introduced the concept. It is extremely hands on and requires critical thinking skills, collaboration, and problem solving. My students had a blast with it! I introduce my multiplication facts one at a time at the beginning of the year. It is always a struggle to get my students to memorize them. These songs have worked wonders for my kiddos, and they love singing them!! I would suggest introducing one song a time when you introduce that particular fact.
