I posted this version of the form on my website. I deleted the names so that my student names were not posted online. However, when I sent this form home with the students, I edited this copy under "Due Dates" section. I listed the days of the week and had the name of each student by a day. Caregivers and students had to sign this form. By dividing up the due dates, this helped me manage reading and evaluating their reading response journals. If I had 25 students then five students were du

This is something I use when my students are absent. It saves time because I don't have to write down makeup work more than once. I just use this pre-made template and type it once. Then I print out as many copies as I need. I open my template each morning and as the day goes I fill in what makeup work absent students will need to do. I do save & rename the template each morning with the date. This helps when I need to refer back to it. This is also handy when students loose or forget what

We teachers are so busy and have so much going on. I created this afternoon checklist to make sure I didn't forget to do each of these things daily. I just went down the list each day after the children went home and it seemed to help me get everything done a little faster and more efficiently. You can edit this checklist and add to it or just use it the way it is.
