This is my sixth year teaching. I previously taught 6th grade math for two years and was a co-teacher in a 4th grade classroom for one year. I am now in my third year of teaching a 6-1-1 self-contained special education class of 1st and 2nd graders. These mats were created especially for a 100th Day celebration! Students sort fruit loop cereal by color on the first mat. My own education history

I received my bachelor's degree in Childhood and Special Education, with a concentration in Mathematics. I received my master's degree in Literacy Education. I am NYS certified to teach Early Childhood (B-2), Childhood (1-6), Students with Disabilities (B-2, 1-6), and Literacy Education (K-12).
