This 3-day plan fills 90-minute classes. Students will reflect on the importance of diversity in education, define equality and equity, explain the differences between the concepts, and apply their knowledge to real-world issues and educational settings. The lesson starts with a PowerPoint, and I provide guided notes. It ends with a cumulative assessment that has them analyze their own development. They create a hands-on booklet, and I explain step by step how to create the booklet. There are student directions, a student checklist, and a rubric to follow the project. My own education history

I have a Bachelors in English and am certified to teach 6th-12th grade. I hold the Gifted and Talented and Read to Succeed endorsements, and have completed an M.A. in Curriculum and Development +30 educational credits.
