I've compiled a comprehensive review for the first quarter of 8th grade pre-algebra. This will come in an editable word document and I've really attempted to make the most of the space from each page to try and save on printing if you are printing copies for each of your students. Please also see the answer key, that I have for this item with all the problems solved and notes provided.

I've made a quick formula reference sheet to print and cut up for each student to staple into their folders. Great quick reference guide to use as a study tool!

Experience

I started out in elementary school, then moved into teaching middle school math. I have also taught other electives, like learning strategies to help keep students organized and provide additional support for assignment and homework completion.I am also my school's math department chair. I have been a leader in behavior management strategies in my current school and continue to work with other teachers and administration to mentor teachers and/or staff.

Teaching style

I am fair but firm with my students. I joke and use sarcasm often, it's more fun in middle school as they start to understand it more. I try to include real world math and relate it to something they'll need later in life also. I am known on my campus as a teacher not to mess with as I follow through with my classroom expectations and consequences with all my students regardless of where on campus they may be! Many students describe me as their favorite teacher ever, some can't stand me! (mostly the rule breakers, haha)
