This project requires students to make a PowerPoint presentation about a genetic disorder of their choice. They must research the disorder using resources provided to them, organize their information in a PowerPoint presentation, and write a reflection about what they learned. You can add the option of having students do oral presentations. A grading rubric is provided on the worksheet.

In this laboratory experiment, students make measurements of mass, volume, length, and temperature using equipment such as electronic balances, graduated cylinders, thermometers, and rulers. The focus is on reporting measurements with one uncertain digit. After the lab, students compare their measurements with other groups and discuss why there may be differences.
