This simple math relay race is designed for use on the first few days of school, but could easily be used at any time of the school year. It focuses on basic math skills (multi-digit addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division plus basic order of operations) so that teamwork is the focus. I intend to use this as our first group-based active learning experience of the year. A quick and simple quiz to use to assess the knowledge your students have of adding decimals. Includes 5 simple addition problems and 1 "bonus" subtraction problem.
