Currently teaching (and loving) middle school math! Have taught all day Kindergarten, 6th grade math,a 1st/2nd split, and 4th grade, and STEM in inner city public schools.
Daily agenda slides have made a huge improvement in my classroom! This resource will allow you to make sure all important information for students is front and center and in a consistent location all year long. I usually post my slide at the beginning of each class, so students can see what they need to get out and what we will be doing every day of the year. I also post a copy of each day's slide to Google Classroom, which allows students to look back on important information and allows student

These Google Slides presentations will allow your students to practice how to solve equations in a step-by-step process so that they can pinpoint exactly where they may be making mistakes. This bundle includes all 3 of my step-by-steps for equations - 1-step with addition and subtraction, 1-step with multiplication and division, and 2-step equations.

This Google Slides presentation will walk your students through the process of solving two-step equations step-by-step. I usually use this as a whole class review on the solving process, so students can check their work at each step and pinpoint errors. I also post a view-only copy to my Google Classrooms so students can use this to study on their own time as needed.

Student-need-driven. Firmly believe in individualizing education.
Awards & shining teacher moments
A student I taught in 2012 who really struggled with math got an A on a recent test in 7th grade. She immediately stated that she could not wait to come see me and tell me because I "would be so proud". This was before she asked her current teacher to call her mom and brag on her A.
My own education history
