This is a fun activity to do when learning about patterns in math. Students can make the various AB & ABC patterns using bear manipulatives first and then record their pattern creations on the activity sheet using different crayon colours. The second activity invites students to colour a bear and give it a name for fun! The pattern activity can also be used as an assessment tool at the end of a patterning unit.
