This is homework or a family engagement activity. Students take home a pattern and a note explaining what to do. I have had kids use cereal, glitter, stickers, noodles etc to decorate. Notes are in Spanish and English. I hang in class as students bring them. These help make a home to school connection and bring in parent involvement. Involves patterns for September-June plus one more!
