About the store

Hello! I am currently a 2nd grade teacher at a public elementary school in Georgia. I teach all subjects including reading, phonics, writing, social studies, science, and mathematics. This upcoming year will be my 4th year teaching AND teaching 2nd grade! I love teaching, 2nd grade, crafting, and creating useful resources! This will be my first attempt at a TpT store that (according to some of my teaching friends) I should've made quite some time ago! I'm extremely particular and have a hard time finding resources exactly the way I want them, so I oftentimes create resources myself! I hope you all find use out of these resources as well!

A unit assessment that follows the unit 2 2nd grade math standards. This assessment can be used as a pre- and post-assessment to assess student knowledge on the standard for unit 2: 2.NBT.5: Adding & Subtracting Within 100. The assessment makes use of several strategies students can use to add and subtract within 100 such as: fact families, combinations, missing addend, and balancing equations.

I believe that the learning environment should not only stimulate learners, but they should have fun while doing so! I enjoy incorporating engaging activities where the child is learning, but they don't even realize it!
