It is important to emphasize the need for students to go back over their work and check for mistakes both by themselves and with a peer. This two-in-one checklist allows for that. Teaching style

I believe in a learning community where students come to rely on one another as learners. If we want students to become more involved in their own learning, then as teachers we need to learn how to relinquish more of our own control, but do so in an organized classroom setting. In order for students to become informed participators in the classroom it is my job as the educator to engage, challenge, and inspire them in each and every lesson. I like to use a mixture of whole group, small group, partner, and individual activities to appeal to all learners and achieve full engagement in my lessons.

My own education history

I graduated High School in 2009. I attended Louisiana State University for four years and graduated in 2013.
