Students will have a blast engaging in this hands on graph activity. Give each child a baggie with 10 fruit loop ceral pieces and the worksheet. First students will label the different graphs and tally chart. Then they will have to complete the graphs and chart based on their individual materials (cereal).Once their work is complete they can munch on the cereal!

This is a fun way to introduce or assess student's knowledge on Line Plots. Give students a bag of cereal. They must complete the Tally Chart and then use this data to create their line plot. There are also questions students must answer about their data. There is an high order thinking section that involves creating fractions based on their data. Take a trip to Mrs. Sweetie's Candy Shop. Students will solve 2 step word problems using an array of operations. Directions include reading the problem 2 times, underlining the question, circling the keywords and numbers, writing a number sentence, and solving the problem. Have fun!

Ms. Sweetie is having a sale at her Candy Shop! Students will take a trip to Ms. Sweetie's Candy Shop and complete an array of long division problems to find out the price of one item! Have fun, and don't forget to brush your teeth!

Students will illustrate themselves on the first and last day of school. They will also weigh themselves and measure their height on the first and last day of school. The students and parents are always so excited to see their side by side comparison. This is certainly one for the scrapbook. Pre-K-3rd grade, You may alter the document to include any grade level.
