This chart gives students choices in dialogue tags. The tags are grouped generally around emotions to help student narrow their decision making when writing. It also helps students with less vocabulary choose a stronger word. Included are figurative language words and a space for words your student finds in their own text.

This is a test based on the Go Math! Curriculum and the CCLS. It is only to measure students rote skills ability, not word problems. This is a symbolism activity to supplement the Ready Gen 5th grade curriculum. This can be used at the end of Module A, using the texts Hatchet and Shells. Includes: 1.
