This is a test based on the Go Math! Curriculum and the CCLS. It is only to measure students rote skills ability, not word problems. It can be used to assess where students are with previous skills prior to preparing for state tests. It goes from place value through multiplication with decimals. Work is in order by topic and written in the form seen in Go Math! tests. Answer key included.

This is a symbolism activity to supplement the Ready Gen 5th grade curriculum. This can be used at the end of Module A, using the texts Hatchet and Shells. Includes: 1. Visual web activity for students to free associate images from the text (with instructions.) 2. Two passages from Hatchet selected to highlight symbols in the text. 3. Short response questions to help elicit students discovering what the symbolism of the items is.

This is rubric details 4 levels of performance based on the Common Core Standards. It can be reproduced to have the strands on the back, with the 6th grade bolded. The standards for 5th and 7th are shown for diverse learners. Works for any type of essay including literary and argumentative.
