This test includes questions asking students to find the missing side a right triangle, word problems, calculate the length of a line on a coordinate grid, and using the converse of Pythagorean theorem (is it a right triangle?).
Students will find new points when reflecting without using a coordinate grid. After the students have found all the new points, they graph their points to create an image. In this mystery graph, the image is a sun!
This is a project I used for my students when I was out for a week. It was easy to give the directions and rubrics to the sub. She was able to easily explain what to do to my students. Students picked three projects off the tic tac toe board to complete.
Included in this download:
-tic tac toe board
-direction sheets for each of the projects
-grading rubric for each project
Test I made on Newton's laws of motions. Includes open ended, multiple choice, and fill in the blank questions. There is a second version of the test in my store that has the questions in a different order to prevent cheating.
This activity walks students through the process of calculating simple interest. It asks them to pick a college, calculate tuition, how many years they are going to take to pay back the loan, and ultimately how much money they will owe the bank total.
Test I made on Newton's laws of motions. Includes open ended, multiple choice, and fill in the blank questions. There is a second version of the test in my store that has the questions in a different order to prevent cheating.
There are three versions of the same quiz included. The questions are the same on each quiz but the numbers are different. I use the different versions to help prevent cheating.
The quiz is LOOSELY based on investigation 1 of the Comparing and Scaling book from Connected Math 7.
Test on similarity. Includes finding missing sides of similar figures, and finding scale factor. I have a review packet available as well in my store. The review packet is the same questions with different numbers.
Scoot game includes 12 task cards, 3 brain break cards, and a student answer sheet. Questions are all about forms of energy and energy transformations. Enjoy!
This rewards menu is used with the token economy system in my class. Students earn about 10-20 "bucks" each week. They go shopping each Friday. Cost of items range from 10 bucks to 150 bucks to help students learn to save. There are 33 items listed on the reward menu
Review study guide that goes with the Pythagorean Theorem Test. I usually give this to students the night before to guide them to the questions that will be on the test.
This whole class behavior chart is a great easy way to help manage students behavior. Some teachers use clothes pins on the sides of each sign. I only have 8 students so i use velcro with their names.
