This test includes questions asking students to find the missing side a right triangle, word problems, calculate the length of a line on a coordinate grid, and using the converse of Pythagorean theorem (is it a right triangle?).
Students will find new points when reflecting without using a coordinate grid. After the students have found all the new points, they graph their points to create an image. In this mystery graph, the image is a sun!
This activity walks students through the process of calculating simple interest. It asks them to pick a college, calculate tuition, how many years they are going to take to pay back the loan, and ultimately how much money they will owe the bank total.
There are three versions of the same quiz included. The questions are the same on each quiz but the numbers are different. I use the different versions to help prevent cheating.
The quiz is LOOSELY based on investigation 1 of the Comparing and Scaling book from Connected Math 7.
Test on similarity. Includes finding missing sides of similar figures, and finding scale factor. I have a review packet available as well in my store. The review packet is the same questions with different numbers.
Review study guide that goes with the Pythagorean Theorem Test. I usually give this to students the night before to guide them to the questions that will be on the test.
