This jeopardy game helps students practice with the following categories: Basic Percents, Sales Tax & Tips, Discount, Interest & Commission, Markup. Plays like a real jeopardy game.

This jeopardy game has 5 categories-- Arrays, Repeated Addition, Fast Facts, Fast Facts 2 (harder problems), and Word Problems. Students see a question, get the correct answer, then go back to the main jeopardy board to pick another question. Instructions on how to work the powerpoint included.

Students can click on the dollar amount and then click forward to the answer. The jeopardy board blacks out the numbers as students play them. This is for a 5th/6th grade level, but can be used as review for other grades.

This slide show goes through pictures of polygons found in the real world-- from beehives to soccer balls to coat hangers-- and asks students to name the shape. Each slide contains a little bit of history or a fun fact about where the shape was found, or its origins. Good for teachers trying to integrate social studies into the math classroom. You can use this product with my powerpoint presentation explaining the electoral college, and accompanying math worksheet. This worksheet allows students to practice repeated addition and multiplication. They look at a map of the electoral college, find how many states have, say 5 electoral votes, then express the quantity as 5 + 5 + 5 or 5 x 3. It also has a few review word problems at the end of the worksheet. You can use it for Social Studies or Math-- it is part of my integrated SS/Math

First, students are introduced to the concept of LCM by recording dates on a calendar-- the days when a child will have to take out the trash and do the dishes, and the days when a dog will have to get his hair brushed, medicine, and a walk. Then students pause for a short worksheet to practice finding the LCM. Finally, students return for a lesson on cicadas and calculate when different types of cicadas will emerge from underground in the same year.

This is a quick practice sheet for students practicing converting between fractions, decimals and percents. It gives maps of the red and blue states from the 2008 election, and has them calculate the percentage of each. It also gives a map of swing states and has them calculate the percentage of swing states. It is best printed in color. This can be paired with my social studies powerpoint on the electoral college, and accompanying math lesson.
