This is a an alphabetized sight word list from UFLI with all the sight words K-2. You can use it to put in student folders for reference, or to track student mastery.
Students will sort words with initial l and r blends and CVC words to practice differentiating between words with 4 phonemes and 3 phonemes. Each word has a "partner," so students should find the matching word, such as plop and pop. Make sure to cut out the words and mix them up.

Can be used to brainstorm descriptive words prior to writing, to note descriptive language used in a mentor text, to brainstorm synonyms for vocabulary development or to describe objects in science lessons.
