About the store

Experience

I currently teach students with significant support needs, have have for the past 2 full school years. In my classroom, we focus on hands-on, visual, and functional learning. I understand how important it is to balance structure with flexibility - especially when supporting students with a wide range of abilities, communication styles, and learning profiles.

Teaching style

My teaching style is: - Visual and interactive (cut-and-paste, adapted materials, real-world connections) - Structured but flexible (clear routines with room for individualization) - Student-centered (meeting learners where they are and building from there) - Rooted in accessibility and inclusion Every resource I create is something I would (and often do) use in my own classroom. They are designed to reduce overwhelm for teachers while increasing success for students.

Awards & shining teacher moments

In my classroom, success often looks like small measurable steps. Greater independent, increased engagement, and improved communication. These outcomes guide both my teaching and the resources I create.

My own education history

I have a B.S. in Education with a specialization in Special Education from Texas A&M University. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Special Education at Texas A&M University, where I continue to deepen my understanding of evidence-based practices, behavior support, and inclusive instruction. My academic and professional training focuses on: - Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles - Supporting students with disabilities across a range of needs - Designing accessible and culturally responsive instruction - Collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams

Additional biographical information

Outside of the classroom, I'm a creative at heart. I love reading, writing, and designing resources that feel both practical and thoughtful. I believe that teaching is both an art and a science - and I am to honor both in everything I create. This store was built to share resources that make teaching feel more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with what students truly need.
