This six page document concentrates on adding 2-digit numbers with carrying over. Models are shown to give understanding to why we are carrying over. Several examples, as well as blank work space is provided for extra practice on this skill.
I created a menu that I glued on to construction paper and laminated. I used them every year. The document is 9 pages and includes the menu and worksheets for adding and subtracting money. Students pretend they are a waiter or waitress and take orders from eachother in order to add and subtract money.
This division units is 19 pages long and includes the following items:
Page 1- cover page
Pages 2 and 3- division as repeated subtraction
Page 4- division vocabulary
Page 5- relating multiplication and division
Page 6- fact families
Pages 7 to 10- division word problems
Page 11 and 12- division review
Pages 13 to 19- division assessment
This 9 page activity works on students' long division skills. They will choose one of the numbers on the leaf. This will be the dividend. Then choose one of the single digit numbers as your divisor. A paper is provided for them to write the problem and the answer. Remainders are included in these problems. The cute Hawaii theme will engage students.
This is an 8 page addition and subtraction review. There are basic addition and subtraction questions, word problems, BCRs, and other types of questions. Excellent review!
In this seven page activity, students will multiply greater numbers. They will choose a larger number card and another factor. Then use the worksheet provided to multiply the numbers.

I am from Frederick, MD and have a one year old son named Carter. I come from a big family and have three brothers, two sisters, and 16 nieces and nephews.
