This is a plot diagram with guiding questions for How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This was designed for level 3 English Language Learners in 6th grade but absolutely could be used with younger learners and older ELLs. This activity was designed for a newcomers' social studies class. The students in this class are learning English but all have a home language that is either Spanish or Portuguese. In the activity students will be reading about different gods and goddesses from ancient Egypt and then creating a poster about one to share with the class. Included: Readings on 10 different gods and goddesses ALL in English, Spanish, and Portuguesea reading check worksheetactivity directions in all three languages

This is a free extension activity that goes with the Thanksgiving vocabulary game in my store. This activity was designed for a 6th grade newcomer social studies class. It is great for students who do not yet know English or who are still in the beginning stages of learning how to read.
