This slideshow explains how to determine viewpoint of texts in three different ways. The first is through pictures, the second through pictures and texts, and the final way is just through a text. It was designed for ELL (English language learners) but would work for any students!

I designed this to use in my own classroom to help keep my chronically absent students up to date on their missing assignments. It can also be used year after year.
