I am in my 18th year of teaching! (wow!) I currently teach second grade in the NYC public schools. I have also taught 4th and 5th grade. I love math and I've presented some fun math games at local math conferences.
Skip count by 1s, 5s, 10s, and 100s for two-digit and three-digit numbers. Good review for students that need extra practice.
There are 4 sheets with this download to differentiate instruction:
Sheet 1- 2-digit skip counting with some challenge problems
Sheet 2- basic/on level review
Sheet 3- more reinforcement needed
Sheet 4- challenge students with filling in the missing numbers
Use a simple math tool, dice, to review how to write 3-digit numbers in expanded and standard form. As an extension you can also have students draw a quick picture of each number. You can have students place numbers in places in sequential order or as they roll, and have them try to make a larger number than their partner. Compare two numbers for review.
Tally sheet for two rounds is also included if you are going to have students compare numbers created.

This is a math challenge similar to BINGO. Students will try to complete 5 activities in a row (or more). This MATHO board gives you different math activities and games. This is a Google Doc that students will fill in with color to show they have completed the activity. All activities are for 5th grade, but many can be easily edited to fit your grade level.
Students will use reproducible base ten blocks (can find easily through a search engine) to create a picture of their first initial (or any letter that they choose). Using this template students can fill in their information like how many tens and ones, expanded form, and word form.
* Two templates per sheet
Enjoy this math freebie! Place value review for drawing quick pictures of 3-digit numbers. Also review identifying number of tens and ones in number. Check out "Roll Hundreds" for 3-digit practice of making numbers in standard and expanded form.
Great to use with Go Math!
Students will be given a number each day to determine the following write it, draw it, spell it, expanded form, add/subtract 10, etc. This sheet is to glue in their "math journal" or notebook. They can use it as a reference each time and you can save paper! Two lists are on one sheet. Double it is starred because for my 2nd graders this may be a challenge in the beginning months of school.
