When I graduated college I began working as a reading tutor for grades K-3. I pulled students from the classroom to work one on one or in small groups. Noggle Math Game
This is a great game to introduce your students to. I use it with my third graders once I have taught them multiplication and division. However, it can certainly be used with addition and subtraction as well.
The students are given a set of 16 numbers and asked to create as many equations as they can with those numbers. The students LOVE playing this and seeing how many equations they can think of. There are 2 separate game boards so you can easily differentiate within your class. One worksheet

My own education history
I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland. I then went on to attend Fordham University and received my master's degree in Literacy Education from birth through grade six.
