This reviews all four operations with fractions, as well as dividing fractions word problems. This would be a good end of the year review prior to state testing or a final exam.
These are particularly good for the beginning of the year but I keep them up all year to help new students in their transition when they first get there. I put these on the wall by each area. For example, the notebook procedures go by the notebook shelf. It's also really nice for me to have a hard copy of the expectations to ensure I am consistent. Feel free to edit the procedures to fit your classroom and theme! I hope these are helpful.
These are perfect for a classroom that is bursting with group work and activities. Put these either taped on your desks or in your group work baskets in the middle of the tables or desk. These are a great way to help students start conversations with peers and learn how to extend their knowledge with help from their group members. My students eventually memorized these questions and I would hear these conversations as a rotated the room. Such a good feeling!
