I print my game cards with multiple pages per sheet to reduce the card size, but you can also use the full-sized pages to project for whole-class activities. This template is for three digit subtraction with borrowing, but the math problems can be changed over and over for as many different games as you can imagine. I've created a template that you can use over and over with your own problems. This template is timed with sound effects to run on its own, but this setting can also be turned off for slower play. The template: -shows problem -counts down work time -displays answer -repeats for 1

About the store

Experience

I create time-saving teacher tools and supplemental resources that help busy teachers plan and prep with ease. 👏🏻I've taught 2nd-4th grades, but third grade will always have my heart.

Teaching style

I prefer a guided reading and writing approach to literacy instruction, combined with individualized word study and differentiated centers. I also use interactive lessons and centers in math workshop. I truly believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in their learning and we set lots of goals in our room to keep everyone moving forward. It's a good day when we learn from each other!

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my students campaigned for me to be president. I kept the picture he made of me in the White House as proof. That's a pretty big honor. ;)

My own education history

I am a proud 2004 summa cum laude graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. I majored in elementary education and minored in counseling psychology. Since then, I've completed my master's degree and earned my All-Grades Reading Specialist License through Ball State as well.
