This activity allows students to build three-dimensional figures to assist in drawing front, side, and top views. All you will need in addition to this resource is unit cubes!
Students will build the three-dimensional figures seen on the worksheet, and use this to assist them in drawing the different views of the figure. It allows students to gain a different perspective of these figures, while engaging them in the lesson.
This hands on and engaging activity allows students to practice evaluating expressions using the Order of Operations.
*The resources provided, which doubles as the answer key, provides step by step work to evaluate expressions. To use the activity, cut each box for your students and allow them to place them in the correct order.
Each original expression has a letter attached to it, so that students know which of the pieces contains the expression to evaluate. Students then find the next step
The following activity is a scavenger hunt for students to review solving equations and inequalities! This includes writing, and graphing equations in two variables.
I made it for my 6th grade students, but this can be used as a review for 7th grade as well!
Three templates (with the potential to grow!!) for Linear Equations. Products include: 1. Template for finding slope from 2 points 2. Slope-intercept form (to fill in slope, and y-intercept) 3. X/Y tables (vertical and horizontal) They are intended to be placed into a communicator board for students to use while practicing.
The following activity allows students to review the similarities between ratios, rates, and unit rates by creating a visual display similar to a graphic organizer.
I have provided 2 templates for students to create a visual, along with directions on how to complete the assignment. Students can work individually, in pairs, or in small groups. The activity is followed up by a series of 9 questions for students to practice solving problems involving ratios, rates, and unit rates.

In this centers activity, your students will explore Greatest Common Factor by making gift bags out of party favors! You can purchase dollar store materials, or even use pictures if you are unable to buy these items. Even better, you can use objects you already have in the classroom! The editable versions I have uploaded allow you to make any adjustments so that you can use this activity at your convenience. PDF versions have also been included.
All this game needs are the directions and playing cards. This activity allows students to practice comparing integers by playing a fun and exciting game. The product includes the directions, and values for the face cards so they can be put to good use!
