This activity allows students to build three-dimensional figures to assist in drawing front, side, and top views. All you will need in addition to this resource is unit cubes!
Students will build the three-dimensional figures seen on the worksheet, and use this to assist them in drawing the different views of the figure. It allows students to gain a different perspective of these figures, while engaging them in the lesson.
The following activity allows students to review the similarities between ratios, rates, and unit rates by creating a visual display similar to a graphic organizer.
I have provided 2 templates for students to create a visual, along with directions on how to complete the assignment. Students can work individually, in pairs, or in small groups. The activity is followed up by a series of 9 questions for students to practice solving problems involving ratios, rates, and unit rates.
