Converting Point Slope Form to Slope Intercept

Have you ever tried a flipped classroom? I have, and I love it! This product will give you access to definitions, examples, and a LINK to a video lesson (taught by yours truly). This will help you to allow students an opportunity for an online learning environment!

Parallel and Perpendicular Lines

This worksheet starts off with a fill in the blank for students to work through. This is intended to help students read through notes over the differences of the two lines. After the fill in the blank section, students are then asked to identify whether or not two lines are parallel or perpendicular. I used this worksheet as a review, but I think I am going to start using it an an interactive lesson for students to work through during instruction.

About the store

Experience

I am a first year teacher. I spent my undergrad as an Elementary Education major and completed my certification for Middle Level/Intermediate Mathematics. I now teacher 9th grade, Algebra 1.

Teaching style

I have a variety of different approaches. I have launched a semi-flipped classroom, and I have been working on different ways of incorporating technology in education. While doing so, I still look for ways to incorporate hands on activities. I also still use older styles by lecturing and using worksheets targeted toward expanding practice opportunities for my students.

My own education history

I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Elementary Education, and a certification in Middle Level/Intermediate Mathematics.
