If you want your students to be able to differentiate proper fractions, improper fractions, and mixed numbers, they will be able to with this sort. This strictly focuses on identification of the different types of fractions by sorting them into three columns. This resource does not focus on models, just simply fractions by themselves. It is made to be an introductory fraction resource.

This resource is for students to practice the doubling strategy to solve 4's and 8's facts for multiplication. This includes the use of models to show students what is happening each time you double.

This resource is aligned to Virginia Math SOL Standards for third grade. The focus of this resource is to compose fractions using models. It is fractions, but also making sure that students understand what the meaning behind it is, and seeing the different fractional parts that make up a bigger fraction. The first page of problems focuses on fractions less than one, and the second page focuses on improper fractions.

This product includes worksheets that focus on the different types of word problems for multiplication and division. The types of problems that this resource covers is equal groups, arrays, and comparison problems. There is a BONUS last two pages that mix all the types of problems together. This can be done as independent work, a lesson, or to assess students on their knowledge of word problems. The numbers in the problems are within 10 x 10 multiplication and division facts.

This is a great, quick resource for students to practice naming proper fractions, improper fractions, and mixed numbers using area/region models where the whole is identified first. When the whole is first identified, it allows for greater student understanding. The resource is meant for students to intertwine fractions that are less and one AND greater than one to increase understanding. For fractions greater than one, students can write the mixed number or improper fraction.
