Grades 5-8, here's a Lab activity using protractors! Every get frustrated with the angles being too small? Not here! They fit the protractor perfectly! In addition, the "correct" way to measure angles is emphasized. (Evidentially, the "correct" way is to measure counterclockwise.) Here's a Thanksgiving/November riddle you can do two ways with your students... Students solve questions related to GCF, LCM, Prime Factorization, Area of parallelogram, Area of Triangle, Fractions (add, subtract, divide) and earn a clue for each one to solve a riddle.
