On the front side of this worksheet, students will practice evaluating function notation from a graph with three different functions on numbers 1 - 10. For numbers 11 - 20, students will practice finding the x value(s) given the output of the given function. On the back side of the worksheet students are given four function equations and asked to evaluate them for given x values in numbers 21 - 30, and solve for the x value(s) for given outputs for numbers 31-40. This worksheet is best printed i
Students can work in partners to complete 16 problems involving one step equations by adding or subtracting. Answers may be positive, zero, or negative. Partner A and Partner B have different problems, but their answers to problem 1 will be the same, answers to problem 2 will be the same, etc. Students can work individually and check each answer with their partner after they are done.
