Teaching style

All-Inclusive!!! Every child can learn and be passionate about music because there are so many different avenues! I give students the opportunity to explore everything music has to offer with continuous combinations of singing, instruments, movement, percussion, and everything else available to us! I continually strive to reach outside of my classroom. Music is an integral part of any school system, and I feel it is the music teachers job to make us and the importance of our craft known outside of the short time we spend with our students each week. My classroom standard is typically High Expectations leading to Above Standard results. I don't allow my students to take an easy way out, and I push them to live up to their very best. I consistently push my students to the next level, and I have never seen a student fail to reach the bar I've set for them. Student relationships, immersive classes, and well-rounded music education have been the key factors in my teaching success.

Additional biographical information

I am a wife, mom, fur-mama, church music director, private lesson instructor, piano accompanist, and full-time music teacher. I live, breath, and sleep music! Thank you for the opportunity to use my life passion to enter your classroom and pass on the passion to more children!
