I created this resource for an after school club in my school that I advised. To recruit members I created a flyer that stated the following:
Spanish Club members will take a Virtual Trip to one of the 21 Spanish-speaking countries of the world and upon return to the U.S., execute an easy and delectable recipe.
We had 12 meetings and visited Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, and Spain.

My school celebrates NEA's Read Across America on March 2nd. Read Across America is also known as Dr. Seuss Day. As a Spanish teacher, I enjoy including a bilingual word wall or fact wall on my bulletin board displays. In this resource I include 7 simple facts about Theodore Geisel aka Dr. Seuss. I also included an image of the bulletin board display I created that accompanied these fact cards and the list of covers I created - in Spanish.
I created these handouts for the 2015-2016 school year for a kindergarten thematic unit inspired by the Eric Carle book targeting animals, colors, and animal sounds.
The entire file has 37 pages.

Hello. This is a 20-minute Webquest on Latin American music genres. When I used to use this in the Spanish classroom I would break students up into 4 groups, have them complete a KWWL chart and then embark in a webquest. Given the reality of distance learning, this could work with breakout rooms on Zoom. Great for novice learners! in my class we very little access to technology, so this was a lesson that got kids to work together and then give a mini presentation. Good luck!
I created one of these a while back, but my sub binder recently went missing in my school and I had to recreate it. I have used this form and subs have filled it out. I also include it as part of my weekly infractions report for my Principal. As a World Language teacher with different classes everyday, I need something that could fit the type of schedule I have and the students I serve. The form is quick and streamlined and can work for elementary, middle school and high school teachers. I am se
Just a silly attempt to keep students in the target language. I print this on a sentence strip and give one to each group. As everyone works I will circulate around the room to monitor student progress. If I hear too much L1 I will deduct 10 points. I have novice learners
