Factoring Scavenger Hunt
Get your students up and moving with this NO PREP, SELF-CHECKING activity! Answer key and student answer sheet included. Students will factor 14 expressions, including expressions with a GCF, factoring a quadratic expression both when a=1 and a≠1, sum/difference of squares, sum/difference of cubes, and factoring by grouping. This activity is meant to help students practice or review when to apply each method of factoring at the end of a unit.

Teaching style
Students should have the chance to practice the real world skills the job market is looking for- collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, communication, and problem solving. It's my job to help facilitate opportunities to do so in the classroom. I'm always looking for new ways for students to engage with my content and with each other. Practice and repetition are important for students to master our math concepts, but that doesn't mean each day should be monotonous!
