About the store
The 2026-2027 school year will begin my 31st year in education. I teach accounting, advanced accounting, financial literacy, marketing, business essentials, and business law. I worked several years for an accounting firm but decided I liked the excitement of the classroom where you never know what might happen. I served as our school librarian for many years but realized I missed the accounting classroom. I've also spent three years teaching computer applications at the 8th grade level.
I LOVE all things accounting related! Numbers are my jam! I enjoy finding fun new ways for students to learn accounting with hands-on activities.

Teaching style
I believe students learn by doing! Hands-on learning is so incredibly important. I strive to make sure students understand the process behind a concept. I enjoy a good project in the classroom for students to use higher level thinking skills.
