Nat's Notes

This product can be used as an extension activity for students who are learning to write compound sentences. I suggest conducting a few lessons prior to using this activity. Students should understand when to use each conjunction, and should be able to demonstrate choosing conjunctions to create compound sentences before engaging in this writing activity. This activity is great to use as a comprehension check, and to allow students to demonstrate their creativity.

The CTOPP-2 evaluation report template will make report writing quick and easy! Just fill in the blanks with personal information (e.g student name, age, scores, and performance examples) to customize the report for your student- the rest is taken care of.

This PowerPoint contains 27 slides of vocabulary that can be used for previewing before reading the story The Little Match Girl. The vocabulary slides contain images, and questions for further expansion. Additionally, there are two slides that contain comprehension questions (e.g. literal and inferential) for students to complete after reading the story.
