This is a Greek myths trading Cards activity based on the idea of Top Trumps. You will get 12 example Greek myth cards and instructions of how to play. Each character is accurately rated based on the myth that they come from. There are also blank trading cards, so that the children can then go on to create their own cards based on mythological characters. These cards are designed to aid group work and discussion, where children use mathematical reasoning to decide on examples for each of the cards or to decide if they are true or not. There are a number of different activities included. These will make a great starter or plenary activity and will help children to apply their mathematics skills through conversations with their peers.
