Ender's Game Chapter by Chapter Reader's Guide - ENTIRE BOOK
Vocabulary lists, chapter plot questions, and critical thinking questions for each chapter.
Answer key included. 22 pages of questions. If spaces were left for students to write directly on the sheets, this document would be over 75 pages long! This set of questions is meant for students to use as part of a notebook, and not written on directly. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this one.

Ender's Game Literary Device Scavenger Hunt
Help students learn to spot literary devices within the book
Students can record similes, metaphors, allusions, motifs and symbols as they read each chapter.
The goal is to earn 50 points per chapter. Students earn 10 points for each example of a literary device that they find, and 15 points for each one they interpret.
This set of worksheets works great in a notebook that students work on as they progress through the book.

Teaching style
I like to use PBL's, case studies, games, art projects, and anything that might be fun. I like to have fun while I teach just as much as my students like to have fun while they learn. So I am constantly thinking of new things to do!
Awards & shining teacher moments
I managed to earn a competitive spot as a summer enrichment teacher for the local Upward Bound program. It's a dream job. I have complete control over curriculum, there are no standardized tests, the students all want to be there, and we have a lot of freedom to be creative.
