Since 2007, I've taught English/ELA in 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. Currently, I am teaching 10th and 11th grade in sunny South Carolina.
This is a group writing project. Ideally, four people will constitute a group to complete the entire story, but if they only have three, they can switch back to the original person to allow them to finish their own story. The directions are listed on the document. A timer is required for this activity.
This choice board is a follow-up activity for the choose your own adventure essay. Once they finish writing their own essay, they can use this choice board to create a project that goes along with their story. This is great to use the last week of school as a quick-grade project.
This is a great handout for students to have throughout the schoolyear to help add diversity to their sentences.
