The students will have to figure out which way is a better way to get an allowance and explain their thinking at every step. Included is a graphic organizer for the students! This task is a perfect way to get students engaged in a lesson on exponents! This is an easy print and go lesson with answer keys included.

To follow up on the PowerPoint lesson, this worksheet can either be used as classwork, homework, a combination of both or just as reinforcement later down the line! The first page they have to fill in missing information. The second page they have to create the problems and then fill in all the boxes, which is very challenging for some! This worksheet can be used with or without the PowerPoint.

This can be used as a quiz or just a classwork assignment. It checks for understanding of how to set up a coordinate plane, labeling all the quadrants, and then plotting points with reflections over the axes. The last part the students will plot their own coordinate and then reflect that point, too. *This only covers reflection using an axis.

A great way to keep the students involved in my PowerPoint lesson, this is a pdf the students will fill in as you move along in the slides. I use the notes to guide students through the first set, then we work together on the second, and the last one the students are trying on their own! This is another worksheet with representing fractions as division. I used this sheet by giving students the two numbers and they had to create a word problem and then finish the sheet. This is a great assessment that aligns with the common core! This also is a quick and easy bulletin board! This is the graphic organizer I used with my 5th grade students to help them make the connections between fractions and division. I supplied word problems and they had to complete the rest of the sheet. I used this as an assessment and then a bulletin board! Look for my other products on a similar sheet but with an added column for remainders and a PowerPoint with notes to use prior to this worksheet!
